Knitting circle

If you have some free time this morning from 11am to 1pm why not drop in on the knitting circle, where you can exchange patterns, learn new techniques, and join in the fun. The knitting circle takes place on the first and third Friday of the month and is suitable for adults and children over seven.

Music circle

Have you got an itch to get back playing an instrument you left down a long time ago? Then the music circle could be just what you are looking for. Tomorrow, Saturday December 4, from 3pm to 5pm the music circle will take place in the education room in the museum, go along and share in the fun and pick up some new tunes and rediscover your love for playing music.

Carol singing

On Sunday week, December 12, why not go along to the National Museum of Country life and enjoy some carol singing with the Foxford National school band. The carol singing will take place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm, but booking is required for the show.

The Holly and the Ivy

On the last Sunday before Christmas (December 19 ) there will be a traditional music performance of The Holly and the Ivy from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Emer Mayock and guests will perform on the day, and booking is essential.
