A 19-year-old man was before Ballina District Court on Tuesday after he was found in possession of €36 worth of cannabis.
Sean Wynne, 2 Moyview, Ballina, was searched on April 2 2010 when the cannabis was found. Wynne has no previous convictions.
Judge Mary Devins applied the Probation Act and directed that €150 be paid to the Irish Carers Association.
