The Meteor Award winning Coronas are coming to The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, St Stephen’s Night for what promises to be a special festive show. Two very successful albums, Heroes and Ghosts and Tony Was An Ex-Con including their recently released single ‘Someone Else’s Hands’, have ensured this Irish band are receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans Their first album was described by Hot Press as “a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines”.
The Coronas, made up of Danny O Reilly, Graham Knox, Conor Egan, and Dave McPhillips, have achieved platinum sales in Ireland with Heroes and Ghosts, and spawned massive singles such as ‘Grace, Don't Wait!’ ‘Heroes and Ghosts’, and especially ‘San Diego Song’ which became an anthem in pubs and radio stations all across the country.
