The Society of St Vincent de Paul is seeking public support for its 2010 annual appeal, which takes place until December 12.
The demands on the SVP are greater than ever. Calls to its regional offices are up an average of 35 per cent compared to this time last year. This rises to more than 50 per cent in some regions.
