Surf documentary to be screened in Castlebar

On Tuesday November 16 in GMIT, Castlebar, a documentary showing surfers ride some of the largest waves in the world will be shown.

Wave Riders includes footage filmed off the Irish coast and the event, which starts at 6.30pm in the Roseann Clear Lecture Theatre, is free to all.

There will be a raffle of prizes sponsored by Exposure with all proceeds going to the Irish Surf Charity, Surf2Heal.

Surf2Heal is run entirely by a team of committed volunteers who freely give their time, energy, and enthusiasm, enabling young people with special needs to enjoy the ocean and its benefits.
