A 32-year-old man was disqualified from driving for three years at this week’s sitting of Ballina District Court after he was convicted of drink driving.
On March 6 of this year, at 12.03am, gardaí observed Declan Moran, Melvins House, Carrentrila, Ballina pull out of a parked spot without indicating on Emmett Street, Ballina.
Moran was arrested for drink driving and provided a urine sample which showed 291mg of alcohol per 100ml of urine.
The factory worker, who has no previous convictions, was convicted and fined €400 and disqualified from driving for three years by Judge Aeneas McCarthy.
