2010 has been a hectic and successful year for the band voted Best Folk Band in Ireland’s Music Awards. The High Kings released Memory Lane, their second album, in February of this year where it maintained its top five chart status for 10 weeks, and later achieved platinum status. The High Kings are making their way back to the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, for what promises to be a special show on Friday November 19.
In support of this album, the band embarked on their third hugely successful tour of Ireland. Following their very successful show in The Royal Theatre last July the band launched Memory Lane in the USA, and have just completed a festival tour in various states. They will close out the year with a tour of Ireland, due to popular demand, including a stop off in the Royal Theatre this month.
