A 42-year-old Ballyvary man was disqualified from driving for three years after he was convicted on Wednesday of drink driving.
On August 26 at 5.55pm, Joseph Diamond, Keelogues, Ballyvary, was stopped at Knockcroghery, Castlebar. Diamond was arrested on the suspicion of drink driving and he provided a breath sample at the Garda station, which gave a reading of 122mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
The single man, who cares for his mother, was convicted and fined €500 and disqualified from driving for three years by Judge Mary Devins.
