The Custom House Studio in Westport will be hosting a new exhibition of works by Beitna Stoney in the traditional art form of egg tempera. The exhibition will focus on a series of portraits from the very young to the very old. The portraits will concentrate on the possibilities and promises of the young being written on the faces of the old. The exhibition which opened this week, will run until November 7.
Also running at the Custom House Studio is a exhibition of works by Austrian exchange artist, Christina Starzer, called Mystic Revealing. This exhibition will be officially opened on Sunday October 17 by Karin Fichtinger-Grohe, deputy head of mission, Austrian Embassy in Dublin, at 3.30pm.
