A clothes thief who stole two items of clothes from a store and then returned a while later for the same clothes in a different size was convicted and fined at Castlebar District Court this week.
On March 5, gardaí were called to A-Wear, Castlebar, where a top (€25 ) and skirt (€38 ) had been stolen by Rosie McDonagh, 32 Hollow Grove, Moneen.
As Garda Cawley observed CCTV footage the defendant returned to the shop.
The married mother of five, who has one previous conviction, was convicted and fined €250 by Judge Mary Devins.
