The organisers of a fashion show in Kilmaine Community Centre today (Friday ) have promised “a night of glitz, glamour and fun” – and it is all in aid of a very worthwhile local initiative.
Leading outlets in Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Castlebar, and Headford will exhibit their fashions at the event, which is a fund-raiser for the hard-working and progressive Kilmaine Village Enhancement committee.
The event will kick off with a cheese and wine reception at 7.30pm, and the models – including a number of well-known locals – will take to the catwalk at 8pm. Tickets cost €12.50, and can be purchased from members of the committee, or on the door. There will also be some great spot-prizes on the night.
