We all need a weekend to Get Yourself Together

A unique new weekend break-away (Get Yourself Together ) which will help you focus on yourself has been launched at the Westport Woods Hotel. The break is an ideal way to refocus yourself in this fast-paced, hectic world where you may have forgotten to understand or look after yourself.

The action-packed, fun-filled weekend will bring balance to your life through helping you kick-start your life and learn what your can do for yourself, get motivated and at the end of the few days reaffirm a more positive approach in your everyday activities and learn how to achieve any attainable goals in your life.

Two skilled mentors—personal trainer and life coach Paul O’Brien and nutritionist Eiginta Vitiene—will guide you through the weekend which is aimed at groups of less than 20 people:, enabling a direct, personal experience.

The weekend will comprise three core modules—nutritional advice; exercise; and lifestyle coaching—and this, along with other activities such as yoga, a relaxing pool session, savouring the healthy menus, having free time to explore the tidiest town in Ireland or having personal training and coaching (at a discounted rate ) or a bit of TLC in the hotel’s Cedar Spa which offers an array of treatments, will leave you feeling refreshed and refocused.

The nutrition module with Eiginta examines how “one small change a week” can make a difference in creating a healthy balance through discussing among other topics, how to properly read food menus, dispelling some myths about nutrition and also how to encourage healthy eating options.

The exercise module will look how to combine activity with a busy lifestyle, with the exercises that the groups will partake in will depend on their own fitness levels. The final module (lifestyle coaching ) will help you be more self aware of how to achieve your goals in life. All of these workshops will focus on participants through a hands on approach.

The next Get Yourself Together weekend will run from Friday November 7 to 9, with the first session beginning on the Friday evening at 6.30pm and will wrap up on Sunday afternoon. The whole package, which includes two nights’ bed and breakfast, two evening meals, two lunches, all activities and the workshops in Westport’s three-star, eco-friendly hotel, is €299. Private training, lifestyle coaching or spa treatments will also be discounted if you are attending the weekend away. Those in the Westport area are also encouraged to come along and follow-up weekends away may also be arranged.
