A Latvian welder was banned from driving for three years and fined €750 at Claremorris District Court this week after he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Garda Donal Raftery told the court he saw Rinalds Krasovskis, 4 Bondruma, Belcarra, Co Mayo, driving erratically at Mayfield, Claremorris, at 4.39pm on June 14 2010. He stopped him and arrested him on suspicion of drink driving and brought him to Claremorris Garda Station, where Krasovskis gave a blood sample which returned a reading of 180mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
