Fame on stage at the Royal Theatre this weekend

Fame The Musical is the story of every performer’s dream and follows the lives of the students at New York’s legendary High School of Performing Arts. This weekend it will conclude it’s run in the Royal Theatre with shows on today Friday, Saturday and Sunday. After two films, six seasons as a TV show, and having sold five million tickets in the UK alone in its six tours of the UK and numerous West End runs, Fame The Musical comes to The Royal Theatre Castlebar in this multi million euro production featuring the West End sets and costumes and a top UK and Irish production team.

It stars Sheila Ferguson with Jessica Cervia and Ben Morris, winners of RTE 1’s first musical theatre casting show.

It is directed by Bryan Flynn (West Side Story/Beauty and the Beast ), choreographed by Gary Lloyd (X Factor Live, American Idol Live, Thriller Live ), and musically directed by David Hayes (Riverdance/Full Monty )
