Claremorris Fine Gael councillor Tom Connolly has welcomed the allocation of funding for the improvement of the green area at Clareville Estate, Ballindine Road, Claremorris.
“I was informed by Mayo County Council at the monthly Claremorris area meeting that €6,500 has been made available following a notice of motion tabled by myself at the May meeting,” he said.
“I am very pleased that funding is made available to resolve this problem as this has been an ongoing issue for a number of years. This will alleviate the problem and the residents will be able to service the green area with out any difficulties.”
