Vets’ conference in Claremorris

A major conference for veterinary practitioners aimed at stimulating debate about the opportunities for developing their businesses in the current recession will be held in the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, on Wednesday October 27.

On the theme of The Way Forward For Your Veterinary Practice, the conference will feature a number of eminent speakers, including: Donal Connolly, former president, Veterinary Ireland; motivational specialist Bart McEnroe; Prof Paddy Wall, Professor of Public Health, UCD; Prof Joe Brownlie, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, London and Mark Collinson, CEO, Novartis Animal Health, UK and Ireland.

The conference is being held with the support of Novartis Animal Health and Veterinary Ireland, and CVE credits are available for those attending. The conference is open to all veterinary surgeons and runs officially from 12.45pm until 6.30pm, followed by dinner. The conference fee, including dinner, is €50.
