Anam Cara, the national voluntary support organisation set up by bereaved parents to provide support and understanding to families who have experienced the tragic death of a precious son or daughter, are hosting a professional bereavement event in conjunction with the Family Centre, Castlebar on Wednesday September 8.
This event, which will take place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, is open to all bereaved parents, and keynote speaker will be Nuala Harmey, bereavement consultant with a particular interest in sibling bereavement. Her talk is entitled ‘Understanding and Supporting Siblings Through Grief’.
