New autumn and winter knitting patterns and wool now have just arrived at Castlebar’s new knitting shop, Nel, on Ellison Street.
Stocking Debbie Bliss, Sirdar, King Cole, and many more, along with crochet and knitting accessories, Anchor embroidery threads and Gutermann threads, a large selection of zips, and it caters for customers’ soft crafts.
Located on the first floor of the Castle Travel Building, Nel knitting and wool shop opened last February and offers knitters a great selection of chunky, double knitting, aran, etc, wool in all makes and colours along with a wide range of patterns. What it does not stock can be ordered.
A knitting and crocheting circle for all knitters and crocheters beginners and experienced is held on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm.
Also in stock is a selection of Irish knitwear, Mayo crafts, hats and scarves, vintage leather bags, buttons, ribbon, zips, threads, and haberdashery.
