There are still a handful of tickets remaining for tonight’s Coronas’ show in the Royal Theatre and this is a show that you don’t want to miss. Two very successful albums, Heroes and Ghosts and Tony was an Ex-Con, including their recently released single ‘Someone Else’s Hands’, have ensured this Irish band is receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans. Their first album was described by Hot Press as “a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines”. The Coronas, featuring Danny O Reilly, Graham Knox, Conor Egan, and Dave Mc Phillips, have achieved platinum sales in Ireland with Heroes or Ghosts, and spawned massive singles such as ‘Grace, Don't Wait!’, ‘Heroes or Ghosts’, and especially ‘San Diego Song’ which became an anthem in pubs and radio stations all across the country.
The Coronas opened Oxegen 2009 on the main stage, and have also completed short tours in the UK and the US. They were also the supporting act to The Script last year at the Royal Theatre. Tickets are available from €23 on www.ticketmaster.ie as well as from The Royal Box Office on 0818 300 000.
