An Taibhdhearc are holding auditions for their next production, Boicíní Bhóthar Kilburn, the Irish language version of Jimmy Murphy’s The Kings of Kilburn Highroad which has been translated by Mícheál Ó Conghaile and will be directed by the talented Lara Campbell. Auditions will take place in Galway on Monday next, August 23.
Auditions are open to experienced male actors only, with a playing age of 35 to 45 years, and must be fluent Irish speakers who can adapt to a Connemara accent without flaw. Rehearsals for the play will begin on September 20 and the production will be staged in Galway on October 19-24.
