The College of Hairdressing, Connaught will welcome visitors to an open day on Tuesday August 24 at Kiltartan House, Forster Street, Galway. The college has recently upgraded its facilities and boasts the only dedicated hairdressing training salon in the west of Ireland.
Open 18 years, the college is dedicated to providing excellent professional training for all hairdressers from beginners to advanced level. Students can achieve their Level 2 City & Guilds Hairdressing Diploma on a part-time or full-time basis.
The Castlebar Satellite Centre of the College of Hairdressing, Connaught is located at Newtown and is in operation two years. Students can achieve Level 2 City & Guilds Diploma on a part time basis as well as enhancing skill levels in cutting and colouring on short courses. Call 094 9044014 or 086 7848737.
Both centres offer night classes for beginners as well as short term courses for qualified and return-to-work candidates. Course tutors and college principal Josephine Cribbin will be on hand to answer any queries during the open day.
