Watersports Day for all the family takes place at Glassilaun Beach, Renvyle, this weekend on Sunday August 15 at 1pm.
Activities on offer include boat rides in speedboats, scuba diving, and kayaking. The scubadiving and kayaking is carried out in shallow water with fully qualified instructors so participants will be quite safe. To ensure overall safety on the day the West Coast Guard and the RNLI will be on hand.
For children there will be the opportunity to enjoy a pony ride on the beach or win a prize in the children’s races or by entering a sandcastle competition. Beach barbecue food and drinks will also be in place.
Money raised on the day will go towards Children At Risk Ireland.
