The three Mayo athletes taking part in the European Transplant and Dialysis Games have all been in the medals this week during the first few days of the competition.
So far there are two gold medals and two bronze medals coming back to Mayo from the competition, which is taking place in DCU. Regina Hennelly from Manulla has claimed gold in the women’s singles badminton competition as well as bronze in the women’s doubles event, alongside Sandra Doyle. Darren Cawley has taken gold in the golf event, while Liam Duffy has a bronze medal to bring home with him from the ten pin bowling competition.
