A great day of fun and excitement is planned for Family Day at Ballinrobe Races on Sunday August 22 next with a programme of activities to suit all ages.
“We are looking forward to welcoming all families to the races on Sunday August 22, and we aim to make it a very special day for all children,” said racecourse manager John Flannelly. “This year our family day will be better than ever and with our new facilities it should provide an enjoyable day for everyone.”
The day’s entertainment will be provided by Party Time and Carrowkeel Castles. Special guest appearances will include Barney, Spongebob Squarepants, and Dora the Explorer.
Other activities include face painting, tattoos, children’s music, games, and bouncing castles. All entertainment is free.
This Sunday fixture is an all National Hunt Card and racing commences at 2.45pm. With a seven race card, this popular racing venue is once again expected to attract a large attendance following on from a very successful season so far.
