The driver of a car who crashed into a stationary vehicle at traffic lights appeared before Claremorris Court on Tuesday.
On February 14 of this year at 12.35pm, gardaí were called to a traffic collision on the old Ballindine Road, Claremorris. Patrick McDonagh, 37 Clareville, Claremorris, had collided into the back of another car. Upon inspection of his vehicle it was noted that the front tyres were both bald. McDonagh had a provisional driving licence.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined McDonagh €200 for the two bald tyres and €170 for not having a driving licence.
