Paolo Nutini to play Castlebar

Following one of the stand out performances of last weekend’s Oxegen festival, Scottish sensation Paolo Nutini has announced details that he will play the Royal Theatre, Castlebar on Monday September 20 at 8.30pm.

Paolo Nutini has taken the music industry by storm with his unique sound. Born in Scotland his debut album, These Streets, was released by Atlantic Records in the United Kingdom in July 2006 and included the singles “Last Request”, “Jenny Don't Be Hasty”, “Rewind”, and “New Shoes”. “Last Request” being the most successful, reaching number five on the UK Singles Chart. The album peaked at number three on the UK Album Chart.

In May 2009 Nutini released his second album, Sunny Side Up, which debuted at number one in the UK and has produced four singles; “Candy", “Coming Up Easy”, “Pencil Full of Lead”, and “10/10”.

Tickets for both shows are priced €34.50 inclusive of booking fee and are on sale today, July 16 at 9am from www.ticketmaster.ie as well as from The Royal Box Office on 0818 300000. Over 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket limit: eight per person/credit card/household.
