A Latvian who stole two bottles of vodka for a friend’s birthday party was convicted and fined at Castlebar District Court.
Ainars Vlasevics, Apartment 1, Church Lane, Ballinrobe, stole a bottle of vodka from SuperValu, Castlebar, on January 20 and another bottle on January 21. Neither bottle was recovered.
The chicken factory worker, who has six previous convictions, was convicted and fined €50.
