A man who stole a bottle of brandy and three bottles of whiskey from Aldi, Castlebar, was given the Probation Act at Castlebar District Court on Wednesday.
Garda Aiden Fallon outlined that on July 5 he was called to Aldi Stores where Reginantas Aperavicius, 111 Aglish Estate, Castlebar, had been stopped by store security staff after he took alcohol from the shelf, placed it in a plastic bag, and walked past the checkouts.
Judge Mary Devins applied the Probation Act.
