Boycott on Dunnes Stores Israeli goods

The IPSC (Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign ) is marking International Boycott Sanctions and Divestment (BDS ) Day against Israel on Friday July 9 by launching a nationwide petition calling on Dunnes Stores to cease stocking Israeli goods in their stores.

Sligo IPSC activist Gerry Casey said: “The Palestinian people continue to endure terrible suffering at the hands of the Israeli regime. Repression and brutality continues on a daily basis. Despite Israel's claims to have 'eased' their illegal and inhumane siege of Gaza, the blockade continues. People in Gaza, particularly children and the elderly, continue to suffer and die needlessly, due to lack of adequate nourishment, medicines and medical care.

“I would urge Dunnes Stores to ensure that in this struggle they are on the right side of history and to join the ever increasing worldwide boycott of Israeli goods. It is time they stood up for human rights and against those committing war crimes and breaching international law on a daily basis. More information on 087 9301 625.
