On July 9 at 1pm the official launch of new artwork by artist Joe Neeson at Pearse Street, Ballina will take place. The sculpture is five metres in height and constructed from stainless steel, copper, bronze and a special polyurethane resin and it is based on the form of diving salmon.
The sculpture takes on a different appearance at night as the artist has included internal low energy LED lights which give the artwork a soft glow and come on automatically at dusk each evening.
