The Mayo VEC committee held its first meeting in three months this week after an issue of gender balance in the group was resolved.
CEO Katie Sweeney announced that following the resignation of Cllr Noreen Heston and Cllr Gerry Coyle, a new member had been ratified in the form of Cllr Michelle Mulherin from Ballina.
“We are very thankful to Noreen for her contribution while she was a member and wish her the best going forward,” said the CEO.
