Ballina Pipe Band Competition

Ballina Chamber of Commerce welcomes the 65th All Ireland Pipe Band Competition to the town on Saturday July 3. This is the first time that this prestigious event has been held in Connacht and it will attract bands from the four corners of the island of Ireland.

The event takes places in the Stephenites and the Agricultural Show Grounds and there will be plenty of parking available to facilitate the anticipated crowds.

So why not go along to Ballina to see this colourful spectacle and enjoy the music, food, and atmosphere at this novel family friendly event.

The competition starts at 11am and runs all day, with the winners to be announced at 6pm after which the bands will parade around the grounds.

Mayo County Council, Ballina Town Council, The Stephenites GAA Club, and Ballina Chamber have all worked together to put on this event and hope that the people of Mayo will get out to support and enjoy the pipers. Entry is €5 per person, free for children under 12.
