Turasóireacht Acla and O'Malley Ferries (Clare Island ) Limited have announced a new summer service connecting Achill Island with Clare Island via a twice weekly ferry service.
The new service will commence on Sunday June 27 2010 at 9.15am from Achill and return at 3.15pm from Clare Island. A second service will commence on Thursday July 1 at the same time of 9.15am. The boat will depart from Cloughmore Pier and tickets will be on sale at the Achill Tourism offices in Cashel and Keel.
The return fare will be €20 for adults, with lower fares available for children, groups and concessions.
