Lecture series begins at National Museum

Christmas Food Fair

The Christmas Food Fair will take place in the Museum grounds on Saturday December 13 from 11am to 5pm. Other activities will include workshops in making decorations, gift wrapping etc, Christmas Carols and the annual Santa visit. Stardome

Take this opportunity to view the Stardome from the Armagh Planetarium and enjoy a trip around the most fascinating objects in the night sky. This event will take place tomorrow (Saturday October 11 ) at 11am, 11.30am, 2pm and 3.30pm.

Talk and Demonstration: Composting Household & Garden Waste from 2.30pm to 3.15pm. Learn how to reduce your environmental impact through composting. Discover different types of bins from wormeries to home-made compost.

3.45pm – 4.45pm Talk and Workshop: Magically turn one seed into a thousand!

Discover how to save seeds from vegetables and flowers in your own garden. Try your hand at seed saving with vegetables from the ISSA organic gardens. From 3.45pm to 4.45pm.

Junior workshop: Housing in the past.

Join Brendan McDonnell of the Education & Outreach Department to explore housing in the past through hands-on activities. From 4pm to 5pm on Wednesday October 15.
