Mystical poetry evening
An evening of mystical poetry, music, and inspiration with American poet Kim Rosenon will take place on June 24 at 8pm at the Wyatt Hotel, Westport. Enjoy the language of the soul as Rosenon interweaves spoken poems, insights, and music, and touches listeners with poetry's power to awaken, inspire, and heal. Mayo COPD Support Group meeting
The next meeting of the Mayo COPD Support Group will be held in the Travellers Friend Hotel, Castlebar (opposite Mayo General Hospital ), between 3pm and 5pm on Thursday June 24 and all new members are welcome. The speaker will be from Citizens Information.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD ) is a progressive disease that makes it difficult to breathe. It is a catch-all term for two common and very serious conditions, chronic bronchitis and emphysema, which usually gets progressively worse over time. Open to anyone who has COPD. Ballyheane sponsored walk
Ballyheane community council annual sponsored walk takes place this Sunday Jun 20 at 2.30pm. Commencing at the Community Centre it will proceed through Cloonaghmore, Killawillaune, and Derrew. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
