The next meeting of the Mayo Open Coffee Club will take place on Wednesday July 7 in GMIT’s Castlebar campus. The topic for the meeting will be ‘the use of social media for business.’
MOCC is a business network run by business people for business people. The event is free of charge. Start-up businesses, people with a germ of an idea, and established businesses all find the Open Coffee Club a useful vehicle to get in touch with what’s happening in the business world around Mayo.
All meetings start at 11am and last between one hour and 90 minutes. The setting is informal and everyone gets a chance to meet over coffee and chat with a view to making connections that can help grow business. Be sure to bring some business cards or details of any promotional material you might like to circulate. Even if you are just thinking of starting up your own business or becoming your own boss, you are sure to meet like-minded people at the Open Coffee Club meeting. Should you be worried about going on your own, feel free to bring a friend or colleague along for support. All are welcome.
At the July meeting of the Mayo Open Coffee Club member Tommy Morahan of Sli Nua Communications, will facilitate a discussion on how social media can be used effectively for business.
All you have to do is turn up on the day. More details on the Mayo Open Coffee Club are available on mayo-open-coffee-club.org, or you can email any of the organisers: Robert Grealis ([email protected] ); Maria Staunton ([email protected] ), or Liam Horan ([email protected] ).
