The HSE Rural Training Centre in Castlebar’s organic market will commence on Thursday June 17 and will be open from 9am to 1.30pm every Thursday during the summer months.
A variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables, marmalades, preserves, plants, shrubs, hedging and herbs, and assorted breads and scones, will be sold at the market. All of all which have been made by the service users at the Rural Training Centre and Castlebar Community Workshop.
The HSE Rural Training Centre which provides sheltered occupational services for people using Mayo Mental Health Services is centrally located off the Humbert Way, between the filling station and the Westport Road roundabout in Castlebar.
