The fifth annual Westport Music Festival will take place, in its usual location, from Thursday August 5 to Sunday August 8, with performances from Mundy, Sharon Shannon, Declan Nerney, Rattle & Hum (U2 tribute ), and The Bible Code Sundays.
Supporting the main acts at this year’s festival are: Amazing Apples, John Staunton, Strayed, Edison, The Three Kicks, and The Mulloy Brothers.
In addition to the night-time entertainment there is also a variety of activities taking place during the day. Also this year the committee have added a special feature to the festival offering balloon flights over the town during the festival weekend.
