The doom and gloom merchants can take a back seat over the June bank holiday weekend when a host of celebrations take place at Staunton's Costcutter Store on Main Street, Castlebar. The weekend will see the official opening of the store with lots of in-store offers, face painting, and fun for all the family.
The celebrations coincide with the launch of the Castlebar Blues Festival and with lots of family activities as part of Destination Castlebar's Fun on the Mall events, all adding to the fantastic buzz over the weekend.
