A new summer time outdoor seating area for customers is now open at the popular Olive Tree restaurant in Newtown, Castlebar, which has developed a top reputation for wonderful Middle eastern food.
The marquee area in the attractive outdoor courtyard has seating for 20 customers and makes for a glorious al fresco dining experience for those lucky enough to book tables during the sunshine.
The additional marquee seating brings total booking capacity up to 100 diners at the venue which, in addition to the main restaurant, also now has four individually themed upstairs rooms for customers, including one with traditional Moroccan seating, and a parent and child room. Separate bookings for small or large parties is also available.
“I want our customers to be happy and for them to want to come back so we have organised the restaurant now so that there is always seating for everyone,” said restaurant owner Mustafa Aboubi.
After growing from its initial shop and deli opened in 1999, the Olive Tree is now well established as a quality restaurant in Mayo’s county town.
€10 lunch special
One of the biggest hits at the Olive Tree has to be the €10 lunch special which gives customers a fantastic mid-day meal brimming with health. Some of the gorgeous choices on offer range from the famous chicken korma to home made Texan burger, spicy meatballs, or chargrilled chicken. Delicious vegetarian options are also included in the deal such as mixed garden veg ratatouille baked on a bed of spinach or ricotta ravioli. Tea/coffee/soft drink also included in the offer.
