Loving homes sought for pets

Mayo SPCA’s small kennelling facility is overflowing with rescued animals and they need to find caring homes. Details of animals needing homes can be seen online at www.mayospca.com Blane is a male neutered cross bred Labrador. He is less than one year old with a super temperament. A happy dog that is good with others, well mannered and behaved, he will make an ideal family pet.

Keely is a collie, approx 14 months old, who was rescued from a hedgerow with her six pups. The pups were four weeks old and Keely would have had a tough time of it with nobody to care for her. She had a bad gash that required stitching and had a severe infection of the lining of the womb, which was removed on veterinary advice. She is now healthy, worm/flea treated, had her first vaccination and has an excellent temperament, is highly intelligent, affectionate, and would be a super addition to any family.

Taffy is a young male collie pup who was taken into care. He is an adorable little pup, fully socialised, weaned, healthy, good with other dogs and pups. Taffy is very clever, house trained, and needs a home where he can sleep indoors and be part of a family. He has been worm/flea treated and had his first vaccination.
