A Polish nursing home chef was disqualified from driving at last Friday’s sitting of Ballinrobe District Court.
On April 9 this year at 11.45pm at Friars Court, Ballinrobe, Piotr Kucharski, 26 Waterside, Ballinrobe failed a breath test at a Garda checkpoint.
A breath sample later provided at the Garda station showed 45mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
The defendant, who represented himself, and who has no previous convictions, was convicted and fined €200 and disqualified from driving for two years by Judge Mary Devins.
