The last year quarter has shown some welcome signs in the recruitment sector, according to Irishjobs.ie, the quarterly online jobs index. These include a nine per cent increase in jobs advertised online as compared to last year. The medical professionals and healthcare sector has seen the biggest increase in new jobs advertised, with retailing, wholesaling, and purchasing showing the largest decline in new jobs advertised.
Out of the 28 job sectors monitored, 18 reflected a positive change since 2009, a signal that the Irish economy continues its recovery across the majority of sectors.
The IrishJobs.ie index measures jobs advertised by companies across the five leading online recruitment sites in Ireland.
