The Museum of Country Life, Turlough, will host a traditional music performance on Sunday May 9 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Emer Mayock and guest will welcome the coming of summer with tunes and songs.
The Irish Countrywomen’s Association exhibition will also open the same day, which features works of members in Mayo, past and present.
A full day drawing course for adults will take place on Thursday May 13 from 10am to 5pm, and on Friday May 14 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm a talk by Professor Peter Gray will examine the role played by religion and the religious during the Great Famine.
