Are you ready to rock? If so, Friday night April 30 is your night. There will be a feast of rock music performances covering all tastes including Celtic rock, rock music, mixture of traditional and rock and alternative rock. This promises to be a marvellous night’s entertainment with music from Mayo based bands Celtica, Search Engine, and Prickly Pears. These bands will be on stage from 8pm in the Welcome Inn Hotel, Castlebar, and it is recommended to arrive early for a full night’s entertainment.
This concert is being organised to raise funds for Western Care Association’s community facilitation service based in Newtown, Castlebar. Western Care Association is a voluntary organisation set up 44 years ago by a group of parents and friends of children with a learning disability in Mayo. The association provides a wide range of services to more than 850 children and adults through a network of group homes, training centres, and special classes in the community throughout County Mayo.
