Children’s author and rugby pundit Brent Pope will visit Castlebar Library on Wednesday April 31 from 11am to 1pm to celebrate Bord Gáis Energy READISCOVER Your Local Library Week which takes place in public libraries throughout the country from April 19 to 25.
Brent Pope, ambassador for READISCOVER Week, read from his books for younger children from 11am to 11.45am. From 12pm to 1pm he will give library goers in Mayo a sneak preview of his new children’s book, give an insight into what it takes to write a book and what inspired him to get involved in writing, and answer any questions the crowd may have.
