Mayo people have been asked to return their Trócaire boxes this weekend to mark the end of the agency's annual Lenten appeal. Trócaire is making a special national appeal this weekend, April 10 and 11, for people to return their boxes to their local parish church.
“We’re asking Mayo to think of Trócaire this weekend and to take a moment to drop their Trócaire boxes into their local church,” said Trócaire’s director, Justin Kilcullen. “This way we can start putting donations into action straight away.”
Trócaire’s annual Lenten campaign ended on Easter Sunday. Trócaire boxes can be returned to local parishes across Mayo. To find out more about Trócaire or make a donation call 1850 408408 or visit trocaire.org
