Further juvenile practice sessions will take place over the next two Saturdays from 11am to 12.30pm. The second session will include a putting and chipping competition for our young golfers. The format for this competition will place the emphasis on the boys and girls having fun whilst challenging them to demonstrate their improving skills. Due to the increasing number of boys and girls attending the sessions the club would be grateful to have more parents assist us with supervision if available. The children are reminded to make any of their friends interested in taking up golf aware of the sessions.
The first round of the ladies’ April match play is currently under way. Members are reminded that all first round matches must be finalised by April 10. Congratulations to Tony Browne’s team on their victory over Neil Chambers in the final of the Winter League which took place last Saturday.
