Limbik Theatre company brings The Harbour to the Linenhall

Limbik Theatre Company presents an evening of enthralling and engaging physical theatre with its dazzling production The Harbour at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Thursday April 8 at 8pm. This funny, moving and visually arresting contemporary tale is inspired by old stories of seal-women. The Harbour follows a daughter’s journey back to her island home, where she finally learns why her mother abandoned her as a child. With haunting live music accompaniment this show explores the fragile nature of the relationships that give us shelter, and a safe haven, in a chaotic and unpredictable world.

Fringe festival favourite The Event comes to Castlebar

The Event, a hugely acclaimed piece of theatre and a winner of the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe First Award, comes to the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Wednesday, April 14 at 8pm.

Written and directed by John Clancy, and performed by David Calvitto, The Event is a deceptively simple piece of theatre - unpretentious and totally engaging - which playfully but profoundly leads us to question, not only the nature of reality, but the very nature of existence itself, masterfully delivering a profound, thought-provoking, imaginative experience.
