Maureen Kelly, originally from Balla and now married with four children in Ballindine, saw an opening for a mobile spray tanning business, having being faced with the problem of finding time to attend appointments herself.
She went back to college at Georgina’s Beauty College in Galway to update her skills and also trained with Roisin Devane, one of Ireland’s leading make-up artists who has worked with RTÉ and some of Ireland’s leading magazines.
So far the feedback to Maureen’s new business has been exceptional. She is offering customers a full make-up and tanning service in the comfort of their own homes at times suitable to them. This service is especially suitable for brides, debs, catwalk, communions, confirmations and any special occasion. The business suits both Maureen and her customers from the point of view of the flexibility available.
Maureen is delighted that she took the leap into the business world, having stayed at home for a number of years looking after her family. She now has a very positive outlook on the future based on the feedback she is receiving and is looking forward to building the business over the coming months.
